Allerton Park and Retreat Center

The Allerton Park and Retreat Center, commonly known as "Allerton", is a park owned by the university in Monticello, Ill.
The park was named one of "Seven Wonders of Illinois" in an online survey in 2007. No Abraham Lincoln-related monuments were finalists in the survey, and the only Chicago-related finalist was Wrigley Field.
