North entrance to the Chem Annex

The Chemistry Annex is located at 606 S Mathews Ave in Urbana, on the east side of The Quad with Davenport Hall connecting to the south and Noyes Laboratory to the north. Known as the "Chem Annex," it provides additional facilities for the chemistry department, such as numerous labs, classrooms, study halls, and the Chemistry Learning Center on the second floor, where students can receive additional assistance from TAs and professors. There is a basement tunnel connecting to Noyes Laboratory. It is due north from the ramped entrance, beyond the staircase and can be hard to navigate. From the main tunnel, there is a branch heading west that heads under Mathews Ave over to a sub-basement level of the Roger Adams Laboratory. Additionally, the Chem Annex has a south wing which connects to Davenport Hall.
