College of Media

The College of Media is a college at the Urbana-Champaign campus. Most of the college's offices are in Gregory Hall.
The college was previously known as the College of Communications but changed its name to avoid confusion with the Department of Communication, which was previously known as the Department of Speech Communcation and is a unit of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The Board of Trustees approved the change in name March 26, 2008.
