The Daily Illini is the student run newspaper of the University of Illinois. It is owned by Illini Media, the parent company of the Daily Illini and other University of Illinois media publications. Although the paper (and it's parent company Illini Media) are student run, the paper is not sanctioned by the University of Illinois.
