The Indonesian Students Club (ISC) is a registered student organization that provides educational and social activities for students interested in Indonesian culture and helps new students adjust to the new environment.

History

The modern version of the club was registered in June 2003. On October 4, 2003, the ISC and Permias merged, which is why the group is also referred to as ISC/Permias. Permias, or the Persatuan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Amerika Serikat (translated: Indonesian Students Association in the United States), an organization of Indonesian students residing in the United States, had a chapter at the University of Illinois since the 1990s.
