La Bamba is a Mexican restaurant chain that has a location in Campustown on the Urbana-Champaign campus and a location in Champaign.
The Campustown location's address is 606 South Sixth Street in Champaign, between Green Street and Healey Street.
La Bamba is one of the more popular places to grab a bite after a long night of drinking at the bars in Campustown. The restaurant claims that their burritos are as big as your head, but they're actually about as big as a standard forearm. They also show their Illini spirit with a large mural inside the restaurant of Illini football players with large burritos as their heads and a separate mural outside on the north wall of the building.
