The Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Hall complex, or PAR as it is commonly known, is located between Pennslyvania Avenue and College Court at the far Southwest corner of the Urbana-Champaign campus on Lincoln Avenue. The complex consists of four four-story buildings, each with 4.5 floors (1/2 basement) of habitable dormitories. The four buildings are, clockwise from the Northwest: Carr Hall, Blaisdell Hall, Saunders Hall, and Babcock Hall.

The buildings are arranged around a central area, which holds the main office, vending room, computer lab, conference room, a lounge, and the residents' mailboxes. The basement of the central area holds the cafeteria. There is no air conditioning in the building, and the dorms seem to have been designed in the 70s by their exterior detail. The 21 Quad and 22 Illini buses pass by the bus stop on Delaware Avenue to make for easy travel to classes.
